Are you using V1?  If so there's a couple of topics in the forum, quick search should find what your looking for.  It's in the video effects for V1.

V2 its part of additionals (tab 2) Utilities in Light objects library.

Is it correct to assume that the feature shown in video 3 (automatic updating the reflection from the moving camera during a movie) is no longer supported for Lumion above version 2? Is it correct to say that the reflection sphere in version 2 is not animatable?  is there any way to copy the effect shown in video 3 for Lumion 2 ?

Yes, that's correct.

No, you can animate the Reflection Control object as any other object using the Basic Animation and Advanced Animation effects in the Movie section.
