Hi Avon5919

It's good to see you enquiring about hardware and researching Passmarks.  It makes the experience that much better if you can find the right balance of hardware for your budget and the type of projects that you will be working on.

The hardware and Passmarks are just above minimum specifications for Lumion.  You will only be able to work on small, simple Scenes.  If that is the type of Scene you work on, then that could be OK (but only just).  The specifications and performance of the hardware will be such that you will not get true benefit from Lumion's unique real-time and graphics rendering power.

Refer to the following:
1.  Which computer do you need for Lumion?.

2. Which graphics card do you need?

also:
Web site Guide: Hardware for Lumion.
Knowledge Base Article: Blog: What is the best hardware for Lumion?

What range is your budget limited to, and where in the range of Scene complexity do you think your projects will be?

Just to add to what Peter said:

Of particular concern is the fact that the graphics card only has 2GB memory, and the system memory only amounts to 8GB. Those are the bare minimums, so you'll soon reach the limits of what's possible. Medion sell more suitable PCs for Lumion, e.g. the Erazer PCs, so I'd recommend having another look on their website.

Which country are you in?

Thank for your comments,

I am thinking about rendering buildings with a small surrounding, i dont now if this is a simple scène?
I live in the netherlands at the moment, and was planning to spend about max 1000€ for a pc. I also seen Some other medion pc's the AKOYA PC P5363 I and MEDION AKOYA PC P5327 I

€1,000 is not much... :-\

AKOYA PC P5363 I and MEDION AKOYA PC P5327 I
The P5363 is worse.

The P5327 is a bit better as it has a GTX 960 graphics card with 5,903 PassMark points - however, I can't see how much graphics card memory it has. If the GTX 960 has say, 4GB memory, it means that you can work on moderately complex scenes. However, this PC still only has 8GB system memory. I would strongly recommend that you get 16GB memory.

Which version of Lumion are you currently using? Lumion 6.0 Pro? This is displayed on the Settings screen of Lumion.

Yes, this one would work ok. :)

This one is even better, but you might want to buy extra system memory for it, to bring it up to 16GB (or more if you can afford it of course).

Hi Avon5919

Don't forget to update your forum Account with your Lumion 6 license key (click here, scroll to the bottom and enter your license number).  This will give you full access to the Support Center, community and resources. Thanks in advance.
