Sudden change of positions Lumion objects

Hello everybody,

For a few weeks we use Lumion Pro (2.5) to make visualisations. Yesterday i made a visualisation of a bike parking project. The project is made in Revit 2013 and was export (with collada) to Lumion. I positioned the bikes in Lumion (a really frustrating job tbh), and after a few hours finally finished my model.
But after i turned on all my layers, i saw that all my bikes have moved! Luckily i had an autosave from 2 hours before. But how could this have happened?

During the last 2 hours i update my model ones, but this should not change the position of my Lumion objects?

Does anyone have a solutions or similar problem?

Hi Misch, I only know one situation where models might move up or down and that's if you change the native Lumion terrain height without locking the positions of the models (via the Context menu -> Transformation -> Lock position).

I know exactly how frustrating this is by the way - I've done it myself by accident more times than I can remember, so after a while I found myself triple-checking that all model positions were locked.

Hi morten,

I didnt lock the positions, it could have prevented this situation.
I did change my terrain, just so i can place a cut-plane on top of a pillar. (sometimes you cant delete or change your cut-plane. the cirkel isn't visible somehow) Could this have caused change of position? I checked my model and it's only the height, but flattening the terrain doesnt change it.

I'm not sure what you mean by 'cut-plane'. Can you post some screenshots please?

I think i already found the solution to this little 'problem'. While trying to make a screenshot if saw that i was modelling in a invisible layer. This could have caused the frozen clip-plane (not cut-plane).

Ah I see.

Let me know if you encounter any other problems, and best of luck placing all those bikes again :)
