Hi all,

Well, good to know that you realize that have a standalone feature is something that will be really nice to have, since you can explore your project rather than just have a video ( which is a time/life saver to quick renderings ).

I saw that you will ( probably ) add this feature on the first upgrade.

Well, I don't know if its defined or not, but I would like to ask what kind of interactivity you'll add.

For my projects I will need:

- Doors animation

- Dynamic weather

- A Character walking around the stage with a 3rd persona camera

- Change texture on a mesh and change the mesh itself with another

- Audio clips that are triggered by trigger area

- Visual ( text ) information on an object

I wonder if you will add the features already defined, or if there will be the possibility to create new ones, like with a visual scripting editor, that allows you to creare what you need without knowing scripting itself, since the strongest advantage of Lumion is that it will require 0 scripting.

To have this option will be perfect, so everyone can customize its project the way he want.

Great job guys, looking forward to see the standalone feature :)

Cheers from Italy

I would like to add to this wish list, the ability to embed the world into a web page, and have areas hyperlinked to bring up movies text etc in separate frames? This would be very good for historical re creations etc.

Putting real-time graphics of Lumion quality in a web page is probably not a good idea. Most hardware of users will be not good enough to get the best out of the engine. However, we are thinking about other methods of creating interactive (web)applications. The idea is to bring high-quality graphics in applications that are suitable for a wide audience and large number of platforms.

Your idea is probably doable if you create a website with images of the Lumion scene in combination with links to movies. It would require a lot of scripting though…

Well, this is very interesting!!!
So are you planning to develop the engine for multiple platforms ( including consoles too? ) or just the interactive application? this sounds a very important feature, so I defenitively agree :)

What about the interactivity? can you tell us what is your plan about that, or is too early?

Thanks :)

Don't expect it soon we first will focus on Lumion in its current form.
