SpeedTree.dll share

Hi all,

As described in the Bugs and Issues section of this forum, some users (including me) have some problems with the foliage (trees and bushes). In the new update Build 4 they move like crazy even there is no wind. For the moment their seems to be a solution to copy the SpeedTree.dll file from Build 3 into Build 4.

Are there any users who can share the SpeedTree.dll file with me (and the others)?

Thanks in advance.

J-P.

I think if there is a Lumion problem Morten should arrange something suitable on an as soon as basis for a hotfix, maybe place a copy in our customer area or something.

If you need urgently, as in next few++ hours, before Morten goes online, let us know.

Hi Peter,

If it's not a problem for you please post it a.s.a.p.

Thanks in advance.

Hi

Hope this is OK to send, but here is the dll.

ADMIN NOTE:
This DLL file should only be used with Windows 64-bit, not with Windows 32-bit.

Hi Peter... I'd like to thank you for sharing the B3 SpeedTree.dll... now it works as it should be. (I have windows 7 x64)

Nevertheless I suppose that the L-team will take action in this case.

Incidentally, we already did:
http://lumion3d.com/forum/index.php?topic=3174.

(Before I could take action, I had to wait for other people to confirm that it wasn't just Peter who was experiencing the problem. The problem seems to have been introduced when Ferry tried to fix the sudden violent gusts of wind that affected the trees/plants in Build 3)

... so what will happen now? Coming soon Build 5 or is just a copy of the SpeedTree.dll from B3 enough for those people affected?

My bad... I read the post where there is a hotfix.
Thanks.

I have noticed this bug as well now - oddly enough it doesn't affect all small plants. Copying the SpeedTree.dll from the Announcement post is all you need to do to revert to the Build 3 wind.
