1.Can I use picture no.1 that the rectangular shape (not square)in material?
2.In picture no.2 can I make the black color Prominent & the white color Gummy for any material we choose in lumion3d …. As we see that in 3dmax?
3.In picture no.3 can we use this shape to pavement  model shape in lmion3d without show the white color ( I mean make the white invisible-unseen ).
4.In picture no.4 can I use it to paving model shape (circle) and make the black color unseen ?

Hi Ayad Mohsen, what you need is to add a socalled alpha channel to each texture.

You need to add this in Photoshop/Gimp/etc and save it as a 32-bit .tga or .png texture. You can use Google to find tutorials that explain how to add an alpha channel to a texture in Photoshop.

When you're done, assign the 32-bit texture to your model and import the model in Lumion.

Then apply a Standard material to the surface in Lumion, and set the Reflection or Clip slider to maximum, so that it uses the alpha channel in the texture as a clipping mask.[/li][/list]

Hi ayad mohsen, you're right.

The auto-texture mapping algorithm in Lumion will convert all textures to a square aspect ratio, so you should apply these materials to the models in your 3D modelling application before exporting them to Lumion.
