We're doing our best  :-[.  We have as much security as possible to prevent it.  If we add more it will start to inconvenience you as members in other ways such as implementing moderation on all posts.

Unfortunately it looks like humans on the other side.  So if you know of a way to stop them, then please let us know.

We will continue to try different things and search for new ways to minimize or stop.

It seems to be linked to forum platform used.
I heard about some other forum having the same problems, solved by changing Platform.
But I'm not a web technician and I don't know how to help! :(

Yup, Indian spammers with too much time on their hands. They're definitely humans as we have 3 different spam checks - one of which includes custom-made questions - when new users register.

Maybe you're trying something new, but I'm having problems logging in.
I have to enter 2/3 times my password before getting access to forum! :(

Hi IdeaImmagine, the login functionality has not changed.

The anti-spam measures were only added to the forum registration procedure for new members.

Can you try to log out and log in again? What happens when login fails? Do you get an error? If so, what is the error message?

I always get the same message: wrong password.
Then I write it again (sometimes again and again) and suddenly it works.

Hi IdeaImmagine

Presume you are not able to use the 'Stay Permanently Logged In' setting?

What browser are you using, and can you check if it is set to Encoding -> Auto-Detect (or Unicode-UTF8)?

I always used the same browser, Internet Explorer 11.
The 'Stay Permanently Logged In' setting suddenly failed and the forum asked me to log in again and again.
Now it seems to work.

Login problem is back again!

This is the message I get:
"Only registered members are allowed to access this section.
Please login below or register an account with Lumion Forum."

When I (correctly) enter my user name and password:
"An Error Has Occurred!
You were unable to login. Please check your cookie settings."

but then I can access the forum anyway.

Hi

Hmmm  ???, anything other than a correct user name and password should prevent access.  Sort of sounds like the forum software has not fully checked the records and passes back the login message, then completes the check-in.

So your browser setting to "Stay Permanently Logged" In failed again, so you needed to re-login?

Are you able to check with your organisation's systems administrators if they ran any reset,  or restore to default scripts/routines across PC installations and browsers where the settings and Cookies might have changed since your last login.

It sometimes works, sometimes fails.
No reset/restore ran. :(

Hi IdeaImmagine

Can you do one or more of the following:

1.  Add the URL for the Lumion web site to the Trusted websites list in IE --> Internet Options --> Security Tab --> Trsuted Sites --> Sites and add http://forum.lumion3d.com/

2.  You may need to check what Add-Ons are active in IE, and possibly Disable any you have doubts about.

3.  Clear browsing History, in some cases for other sites where Cookies had run it means you may have to confirm the Cookie again:  Internet Options --> General Tab --> Browsing History --> Delete button, and select Cookies and maybe the Temporary Files to clean out all old site visit files.

4.  If none of above work to give good access over a few days, then Reset IE: Internet Options --> Advanced Tab --> Reset Internet Explorer Settings --> Settings button.
