first of all, that I have not sleep since I saw those incredible 29 minutes on vimeo. Congratulations in advance.
I would like to know, is like trying to connect with Sketchup, usually
work for all materials and export it, but from the beginning have been
more interesting to work in layers, and assign materials to each of
these layers, exported using 3ds format. It Be possible, regardless of the model using layers in Lumion?

I´m sorry by the Spanglish.

You can assign materials in Sketchup any way you like and then import them into Lumion. You can also save each layer in a seperate object and put each object in a different layer in Lumion. Materials are very simple in Lumion. You just import and you get your model with all materials. Next, you click a piece of the object to override the material that is assigned to the piece you clicked. These overrides are remembered by Lumion so you can update your model an Lumion will reapply all the material changes you made. This workflow works really well because you can make any changes you want and still keep all the work you have done in Lumion.
