Hi

Is it possible to adjust the borders of shadows?

I have an isometric illustration - ca. 50m from the building, where the shadows seems to be a bit to 'soft'.

Thanks :-)

Hi jorgensen, the only way to change the shadow sharpness is by adjusting the Shadow range slider.

Hi Morten

Thanks for your reply.

I have tried exporting images (3.0.1) - with minimum range, and maximum range, but I don't see any difference?

Hi jorgensen, I can't reproduce that.

Can you double-check if you've accidentally applied 2 Shadow effects (1 to "Entire movie" and 1 to your clip)?

The rule of thumb is that if you have added the same effect twice, the one in the clip will always override the one which is applied to the "Entire movie".

If it still doesn't seem to work, can you zip + upload the scene files with the Shadow effect and the correct camera angle please? (there's no need for the Library files - I'll just add some random buildings to the scene)

Thanks for confirming that it worked - it's always a relief when something isn't a bug :)

The worst thing is actually customers who never reply as it leaves me with a nagging feeling that it might be an unresolved/unreported bug.
