Separating Furniture from a Revit model import

Hi, I'm very new to using Lumion so go easy. I have version 3.

I was wondering if there was a way of ungrouping or separating Revit furniture from a revit building that I imported into Lumion.

The reason for this is that I want to do a walkthrough and have bits of furniture fly into the room as the camera pans in. If that makes sense.

Any help would be much appreciated.  :-D

We will   :).

Which version number (3.2.1?) and product (Pro? Educational?)?

No ungrouping, Lumion optimizes for real-time and combines all surfaces with the same material ID so that you need to control objects separately at export time.

What you need to do is export your furniture objects separately, import them and then place them or align them to the model.

Any static furniture can be exported with the rest of the model, or as a filtered selection then aligned to the building.

Things that need animating are best aligned and then exported with a world centre of 0,0,0 so that they can be placed, moved and animated about that pivot point.
