Hi You can do one section lumion and then animate it,

to create a moving section, to show that the building is cut? both horizontally and vertically?

 thanks

Hello,

I was wondering if Lumion has this feature on their wish-list. It would be very useful for architects/engineers to approach and visual easily level differences, walls, roof-,door-,window openings and so of their designs.

I'm currently creating sections in other programs (ArchiCAD), export and load it in Lumion, for each section (time-consuming, running on a Mac/bootcamp also :-X)

Like user rvt2011 mentioned before, adding a Scene effect with adjustable height+depth would be nice also.

We do have this on our internal wishlist. We have a few really big priorities first to finish though. But something like this will see the light of day at some point.

There is a way to slice a building and look at half or more at a time - clipping planes.
