Hi 3dfh, it's currently a rectangular plane from A to B (unless the rectangle penetrates the Lumion terrain - if so, the objects will conform to the contours of the Lumion terrain).

So to answer your question, objects will not conform to the contours of an imported terrain.

Hi michaelholt, the Hyperlight render mode works in Photo mode (1280x720 & 1920x1080) and when you render 1280x720 & 1920x1080 images via the Single tab in Movie mode.

It's a bit too slow to be a practical solution for movies.

The reason the technique can't be applied to Print and Poster images is that they use a different tile-based render technique which is incompatible with HyperLight.

But can we use this option on a flat imported mesh? or better on a single slope based on a imported mesh?

Yes, the rectangle that you create can be 'drawn' between two points on a flat imported mesh. It will also work on straight slopes.

Progress looks good! PBR yay! Still missing from my usability list  :'( :

» no transform gizmo per object.. (placing right now is very messy)

» no outliner (tab or browser to filter/view toggle/select objects in the scene)
this could easily replace/complement the limited Layers paradigm currently available

Curious to know better about "physically based rendering"...  ???
