Hi, is there a way to backup our data or save as command to save it to a specified folder and write to a cd?

not yet. You have to copy it yourself from the windows documents directory.

Make sure you copy the "Scenes" and "Library" folders as the library contains the models you have imported, and the scenes are a composition of imported models and settings.  An example would be that you created a new scene, imported a model called "house1" and changed material properties in Lumion.  You save the scene, and move on to the next.  The next time you create a scene and import "house1" it comes in with all of the material adjustments you made on the previous.  All of the material information resides in the library directory, not the scene.  Hope this is of some value, you will notice the library directory is the larger of the two folders.

One of the features on our wishlist is a tool which easily allows you to exchange scenes and models with others. A system like this would also be great for back-ups.
