When I look at the development of lumion during the last updates, I clearly see some confusion between whats important for me as a user and what the developers do...
For me the priority in architectural visualisation is:
1 - More construction materials
2 - Wizard for plant population, streets including lighting and parking, rivers
3 - More flexible terrain
4 - more flexible video and image resolutions for output, e.g. cinema, more then 16:9
5 - VR-Modul for clients as exe file
Nice would be automatic moving people in an area with collision detection, people walk along a spline, camera along spline or cirlcle, bound to objects, e.g. folowing a person to optical move the spectator through a place by following a moving person.
Whats nice to have, but not necessary: rain, snow, clouds, landscape, water, ocean...
I do not clearly understand what group of people lumion is for...
because for CG and Cinema FX the render quality is not good enough and for the Architectural Animation, there are far more important problems to solve then better ocean quality and clouds.
I dont know how other people see this, but perhaps some of them can tell there opinion in this thread...
