Hi kschillaci13, welcome.
Unfortunately, it's an Autodesk limitation in the Revit LT product that prevents us from having a better option to export, such as with the full Revit product.
DWG has been the preferred method if you can define things on further layers and create new layers for overrides, see
Revit and Revit LT: How do I Export a Model?Other than that there is the option to export to FBX, but then you also need 3DS Max. With 3DS Max you can work by individual surface and re-assign materials before import to Lumion. But it does take a little bit of time to work on all the surfaces (assuming you can get access to 3DS Max).
The only other option is to upgrade to the full Revit product but I'm not sure if that's an option for you or not.
Apologies for the less-than-ideal pipeline for Revit LT but this is where we're at...

Let us know how you get on.
