I am looking to upgrade or buy a PC with nice power to run Lumion.  I am not a tech guru so I want to buy a laptop or desktop already put together.  I understand the graphic card and GPU have to excell.
What is out there recommended?
Can I  keep my current PC (see specs below) if so what kind of graphic card should I install?

Currently using a HP Pavilion a6700y  – AMD Phenom X4 9150e 1.8GHz, 4GB DDR2, 500GB HDD, DVDRW, Vista Home Premium 64-bit; Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce 6150SE (and doesn't support Lumion, get errors) Specs claim I can upgrade the video card with a PCI Express x16 graphics cards.

Thanks!

I want a GTX 680 4096mb for my system...would be a great setup for Lumion! Just waiting for them to be more readily available at online retailers.

Like Alienware, they're video-game-centric, but hey, that works just great for Lumion.

I think I should also be waiting then...

...even withOUT that card, I quickly put together a $3,500 machine there. :-D Now I wonder how much extra it is to ship overseas... :o

GTX 670 is cheaper readily available and works very well with lumion. Our GTX 580 setup seems a bit more tricky and although it does have a lot more software than the GTX 670 machine, not so stable. I hope that helps.
