You will need to find that balance between model quality from the Geometry Accuracy and file size so does not get split.
If the reduction in accuracy does not suit and keep to single file, then you would need to work with Multiple Model Parts:
1. for the already imported model, use the Ctrl key in the Materials Editor
to access the Reload and Reapply Materials from New File
, and select part 1. This will update at least the main part of the model and keep your existing Lumion material settings.
As an option you could do a new import for Part 1, but would need to re-work any Materials editing done in Lumion. Depends on how much editing was done.
2. then import as a new model part 2 and so on. Use the Align Context Tool, or set positions of each part to align.
3. from then on, you would need to update each part to each imported model part. In v4.5+ the new Update All
makes that process simpler
There is no option in the exporter to set export as single file.
re second PC. Most certainly.
The Lumion license is a floating license, allowing you to use it per seat on any PC you want. So you can install on any PC or laptop and use whenever, wherever. If you use at work, you need to just make sure you close down Lumion to release the license, so you can work with it on your laptop, and viceversa.
