The Alienware specs indicate the GPU is a GeForce GT 650M. The Passmark for that GPU is 1296, below minimum specifications for Lumion.
The Macbook has an integrated Intel Iris Graphics 5100, not suitable at all. You need a dedicated GPU in a laptop.

For laptops, you need to be looking at the high end of the specifications, either GTX 680M, GTX 770M(min), GTX 780M, GTX 870M(min),GTX 880M, or similar or above performing Radeon.
