Topic: RADEON vs GFORCE Nvidia. help!!!!!

i've just instaled LUMION 4 in my new laptop Dell Inspiron 15R 5537-A10 Intel Core i7 - 8GB 1TB Windows 8 - driver AMD Radeonâ„¢ HD 8670M 2GB and i'm having problems when i enable the maximum configurations of edition(all stars),
The image turns black(real time) and pictures and vídeos gets just horrible.

Will the problem be this RADEON HD 8670M 2GB? If it was a GFORCE NVIDIA would it be better?

Which version of v4 is it?

hey my is a dell inspiron 5737 16gb ram n amd radeon 8870m....i went thru all the discussions n did change the settings in the catalst control center....i ws trying to render one of the sample models when my driver just crashed and i got a msg saying that my driver has blocked lumion from using it...wht do i do??

Do you have a screen capture of that message, if so please post as attachment.

I would expect that message just to be a temporary message, so re-check Catalyst and re-boot the laptop to see if can run again.

Your laptop has a Passmark of 1802, which is above minimum recommended, but there may be other reasons why the crash occurred when Lumion was rendering.

Were you rendering an image from Photo Mode, a video or an image from Movie Mode?

Also, what version of Lumion are you using?
