Topic: Question about locking imported objects

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and am evaluating Lumion for my firm.  I have a quick question about locking an imported object. I have imported one of our site models, about 29 acres.  I have imported it onto a flat base starting file.  Is there a way to lock the file from moving?  I have set the object selection to prevent me from moving the object  However, changing the terrain around and beneath the object does move the object, which I hoped would be locked.  Is there a way to lock the object in place so it is not dependent on the terrain?

Hi Vincent,

Yes you can lock objects.  Is this what you did to lock it?

Import object
- click on modify object button (looks like an equal sign with an extra horizontal line)
- select object "dot"
-  transformation button
- lock position

Ok, got it thanks.  I must have placed it on the topo prior to locking the entity, as the topo deformation moved the object.  The key is to lock the position prior to manipulating the topo (land) in any way.  Thanks!
