We've been using Lumion Free, and would like to purchase Lumion.  If we decide at a later date that Lumion PRO is more suited to our needs, can we upgrade to that version, and what is the cost?  Is it possible to just unlock Lumion Free after purchase, or does Lumion require a full install?

Sure, that's not a problem. The upgrade cost is the price differential between Lumion and Lumion Pro, so you wouldn't be paying more than if you had purchased Lumion Pro first.

I ought to mention that Lumion Free is a rather old version (3.2.1) whereas the latest version is 5.3.
