Problems animating a movement

Hi,

I am currently doing severa animations of objects in Lumion. Sometimes it happens that I animate an object I did not want to or I moved it wrong. Is there an undo function for that? At the moment I am allways deleting the animation effect, which causes that I also have to reanimate all the other objects already animated since there is no possibility to add several animation effects.

The animation effect is non-destructive so when you remove it everything returns to it's original state. However, there's no undo function for the animation. The animation effect was a last minute add-on and we initially had the intention to not include any animation features at all for this version. I get the impression many users want to do more animation so you can expect the animation features in Lumion to expand.

Thx Remko. Yes I know that everything returns to its originl state. What I wanna say is, that the problem is, when I am doing an animation wrong and I delete the animation effect, all the other animation work done before is gone! Animation is at the moment a heavy part in Lumion because moving an object exactly at a special position is nearly impossible. That is maybe not so important when moving a person or  car. But in architectural renderings you sometimes need to animate doors or other architectural elements.

"Animation Effect: Undo after moving an object" added to the Functionality Wish List (this will become a sticky post soon) Smile

Hi, I’m a relatively new user. I've read a lot on your animation section, and saw that objects can only be moved in straight lines :(. Can anyone tell me if I can expect an improvement in the animation tool any time soon? I would really like to make cars and other objects turn corners etc. in my animations. As well as the continuity issue concerning the position of objects between different scenes, can we expect any improvement?
Thankful for ANY assistance.   8) MeddVision

Did you try to use the movement effect on the main movie instead of the clips?

Cars around corners have for as an added problem that our automatic wheel turning doesn't support that yet.

We are planing more advanced animating tools but our focus will stay that it is simple to use.
