Maybe you can help us out by pinpointing the problem since we do not have access to your system:

If you go to the Lumion install folder you will find a ArchitectEdition\Classes\RenderEngine folder

in this folder is a file called "LandScape.cgr". When you delete it, Lumion will skip all landscape rendering.

The trick is to find out in what file the driver crashes. From earlier tests I found out that the quality level does not influence the bug so the error must either be in the landscape, sky or general render engine.

Please delete landscape.cgr and see if this fixes the problem.

Then delete sky.cgr and see if this fixes the problem.

Next, delete shadowmap.cgr and see what happens.

Finally delete tonemap.cgr and see what happens.

Note that each time you need to restart Lumion. You can't delete the file while Lumion is running because it is already loaded.

-thanks

My problem seems to be more clearly explained and illustrated with relevant images. I believe and I think that is a problem of application Lumion. It has conflict with Nvidea Quadro FX 4500.The other application   3d max, maya, Acad, sketch up and used games so much better.
I need your help and attention to resolve my problem

I have the exact same problem of driver crashing, but it occurs only when i try to render a movie or a photo, if the scene is big. I can't render a movie in high resolution or a photo that is bigger than 1920x1080. My video card is Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT, 512 mb.

P.S. I can't afford for now to buy a better video card. Any other ideas? Cheers!

I have the same card just with 1gB of memory. Can that be an issue?

64 bit or enabling low memory mode in the settings might offer some help. Let me know if that helps. 1 GB of gfx memory should be enough.

Water is black in Lumion if you set the Image Quality level in the Settings menu to 1 star. Try setting it to 2 or more stars and let us know if that helps.

We're focussing first now on general bug fixes for sp2 and after that we can focus on this specific case.

This is simply a diversion on your way to this problem, which is software problem and not the graphics card, however, wish you all the best in the updating  the program with different graphics cards and to have a  commitment to accountability and dignity by staff technicians.
best regards
