Problem with layers(fbx file)

Hello, i am importing a fbx file from 3ds max to lumion but i have a problem. I have many different objects and many different layers also, so when i assign a material to an object it automatically assigns to another object that normally is not at the same layer.
Is there any solution to this problem?
Thank you in advance.

You need to set unique materials in Max for each object you want to have with their own materials in Lumion.

Layers in Max are not exported and read by Lumion.  All materials for objects are determined by the materialID assigned in the modelling application.  So if two objects share the same materialID, then they will both have the same material in Lumion including when you edit the material.

Although FBX is OK for import in many cases, you may find using OpenCollada is better, except if using Max 2014 where the updated plug-in is not yet available.

Thank you for your quick reply...I have about 2000 objects why are not all objects share the same materialID? Because generally i have not put any material in the scene neither on the objects. Also i tryed the opencollada and it appears at Lumion Black and White...
I am sorry bothering you with many questions...

What version of Lumion are you using?

And also, what Max version?

In Max, objects without an assigned material will export with different material names if the objects are on different layers, otherwise they will have the same non-material attributes, and export with their layer color.

I use Max 2010 and Lumion 3.0. But i think i found the problem. The problem appeared only at the objects that i "merge with current scene" in 3ds Max. All the other objects that was from the beginning of the creation of 3ds Max file had not any problems. So i am about to create again the 3ds Max file.
