The best way is to export DAE using OpenCollada, but you can use also build-in "Autodesk Collada" exporter.

We are working on your problem all the time.
There was a bug in Lumion we already fixed which could have caused your problem.

Now I'm trying to figure out the workaround you can use a few days until the update will be released.

Dude,

Your stage is set in 3DMAX. Open it… You see it there? Select All and Group it. Go on "Group".

Now going on>> FILE>> EXPORT

Select *. FBX or *. DAE

Save.

Open Lumion.

Import the FBX or DAE file. (All that's your scene 3dmax) into Lumion.

It's done.

I have always done so and never gave an error.

Forget this "OpenCollada, " it only gives Bug

Sorry Andre, but look at my bugs, and if the developer says that it is better to export through OpenCollada he honed his product under this exporter, plus I was not smiling again texturing the scene.

True, developers probably forgotten about my problem Frown

Also make sure you are using the latest version of Autodesk FBX available for your version of 3dsMax.

http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/s.....d=10775855

Export with the default settings from the media/entertainment preset but switch axis to Z-up and check the fbx type inside the exporter.

Choose the highest one available *should be 2011*

 i have the same problem.

- * .dae * .fbx the same,  the texture doesn't appear.

maybe the 3ds Max 2009 bug

-fbx latest version (fbx20113_1_3dsmax2009_win)

if you just import models not animation, you can try  *.obj , it works.

Hi Jrh,

Do you use Lumion with Update 1?

What kind of max material do you use?

Could you post your example file?

Artur, I tested the update Lumion problemma but remained in the window selection models do not have previews. And the scene put the empty box without a model. I understand that the most likely to blame the model but since I'm not alone do the project then such errors can not be avoided, I would like to find an algorithm for solving such problems.

Please post the model (or part of) so we can check the model, it will be likely the model issue.
