Hi, I installed the trial version of Lumion 7.5 on my PC with GeForce GXT1050 graphics card (according to the points PassMark should be eligible to start the application) but as soon as I start, it shuts down and nothing starts; What could this problem depend on? Do I have to change graphics card or other minor problems?

Hi sergio.fe

Welcome.

A GTX 1050 graphics card should normally be fine to work with Lumion.

It is possible that some other part of the system or the cards drivers needs to be updated.

To help check things please attach to a post the Windows Diagnostics (DXDiag) Report. Refer our Knowledge Base Article: How do you attach a diagnostics report to a post?

Please also follow these instructions:

Thanks, I solved the problem!
The problem was the integrated Intel HD graphics card on the PC, thanks for helping me.

Hi sergio.fe

Well done on solving the problem.  :)

Yes, indeed if the onboard graphics are being used instead of the dedicated graphics then Lumion will not run correctly.

There's more in our article for others that come across this problem.  Why is your computer using an Intel HD graphics chip instead of the dedicated graphics card?
