This is really nice. I wonder why noowhere is written that the Specularmap needs to be stored in Diffuse Alpha. Its so easy.

There is no manual for Lumion.

The developers of Lumion (Ferry, Arthur and Remko) want Lumion to be so easy to use that a manual should not be necessary.
I guess with growing features this wont work good enough to enable your customers to squeeze out the optimimum out of Lumion on a long range. :)

You're right, the workflow and user interface need to be overhauled even further, so that no function is hidden.

Lumion is in a constant state of flux, so the moment you start to write a manual, it will be outdated by the next update. Which reminds me that I need to update the Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts thread, so it matches the 2.2.1 feature set. I'm really looking forward to the day when Lumion is so easy to use that this thread will no longer be needed :)

Video tutorials would also help - I hope there will be time to add those soon!

+1 for a manual, I think as Lumion has grown up, a manual is a must.
Found out by accident the shortcut keys when in object edit mode (move, rotate, size, height), very usefull!

To get started, how about a quick reference card or screenshot summary?

Easy to maintain. And if Lumion UI really doing well, people won't do much manual request naturally  :D

When working with objects move mouse over object point and hold down the following shortcut keys.
Move: M
Size: L
Height: H
Rotate: R
Rotate Pitch: P
Rotate Bank: B

Works very well. In combination with alt-copy you can quickly place multiple object and move/rotate them in one single flow. Great improvement. Don't know if that's only recently available in 2.2 as I upgraded from Lumion1 last week.
