Just out of curiosity ... see the importance of post production on photos and videos.

We try to do everything in a single scene, but the big producers do everything separately.

And because of this we need channel export again in Lum3.

Its a different kind of workflow. Some people like to do all in 3D other do more in Photoshop.
Both has good and bads in it.
I'm more the "do a lot in 3D" guy but apply stuff which looks better the other way in 2D. Like exchanging skies, colors and so on.

Especially if it comes to proper color-grading or stuff like flares you need another application.

Just compare "Optical Flares" for AE with Lumion flares and you know what I mean.

Hi Michael, custom map export is already available in Lumion 3.0 (up to a resolution of 2560x1440):

Movie mode -> Save Movie -> Images -> Custom export -> D/N/S/L/A/M

In the upcoming 3.0.1 it will also be available in Print and Poster resolutions (again ).

I found it interesting that matter, by showing what is done in practice by large producers.
They have more money and resources, but they do not work with a scene so great in 3d.

In the type of work they do, they can plan every scene of a movie, so the images are made specifically only the required angle.

We have to assemble the whole scenario, as we have no advance planning of what angle the films will be made.

I believe advance planning, combined with the resources of mácaras output Lumion, more professional editing a post, you can turn the end result of our work.

For 3D professionals there is no such thing as "one software do it all" You use the software that gets the job done, and you absolutely don't have to be a big production to work with multiple software. Many of the vfx shots you se on films and television is from one man business

Well,

thanks for such impressive videos. Indeet it looks phantastic, but some movies requires years of experience and often hundred of people + huge computer capacity.

At least, can someone tell me what the options :
D/N/S/L/A/M
 are for, as I saw them in the relevant menue, but have no clue about it´s meaning.

I find it interesting to see these things, because unconsciously, can help when mounting a film, choosing the best angles and framing, using various planes of depth, time of a scene, speed, etc..
