Hi aarvye, thanks for the information.
Your hardware, driver and Windows version seem fine.
The only wildcard that remains is how complex your scenes are.
The more complex they are in terms of texture usage and vertex count, the worse the performance will be in
Build mode, and the longer your render times will be.
Can you shed some light on what kind of scenes you're working on?
I don't know if you're already aware of this but you have to be really careful when you use spotlights. Please read
this FAQ post (
Spotlight properties) for more information.
Anyway, please load one of the scenes you've having problems with.
Then turn on the
i button in the
Settings menu and press F7 and F9 in
Build mode to turn on high quality trees and terrain. Zoom out and let us know what the number is in the top right corner (k means 000, so 39.000k = 39 million vertices).
