Attached attempt at placing the Reflection Control object within a space to try and get correct reflections on the floor. Placing in the images attached produces floor reflections that are, somewhat near correct but are far enough out to look really wrong.
Is there a logical way to place the Reflection Control object correctly? I have tried placing it at the perspective vanishing point of the space and central onto the screen, both not good.
Any thoughts?

If you move the Reflection Control object to the camera position you get reflections that look almost right - until you start moving the camera that is.

Thanks Morten will try, maybe this should be the Lumion default position for the Reflection Control Object when doing still renders?

Yes, I'm not sure why the developers changed this functionality in 2.0.

Thanks Morten, that looks pretty good to me, one thing when the object was central on the camera the reflections were for some reason not long enough, so lowered the object and they are now at correct length.
Would be a nice option to have the RC object follow the camera when animating, sure the render times may be longer but for interior renders with glossy floors this would be kind of essential.

Light Up uses multiple Reflection Objects placed buy the user, the one nearest the camera being active, this wouldn't be a bad solution.

Yes, I have also asked that the reflection point to stay in the position of the camera, as in Lumion1, at least until the implementation of real reflection.

hi, why i have reflection of the sky and sun in a refelctive material but dont with the objetcs in the scene? thanks.

The Reflection Control object needs to be placed about .5m directly below the camera position, to find reflection control object: objects/lights and special objects/utilities/reflection control.

In Lumion 1 the reflection control object was automatically placed on the camera, even in animations when the camera was moving, why has this changed? Seems like a big step backwards.
Just looked at an old L1 film of mine with glass reflections, looks great.

Sounds like you're using an old version of Lumion?
