If you want write the configuration of your PC.
CPU, Motherboard, memory, graphic card etc.
How long time take to you to make a video (which quality and size).

The most important thing is your graphic card, higher CPU will not affect your rendering time in Lumion.
I have changed my graphic card. I had a Geforce 470 GTX, some weeks ago I replaced it against a 580 gtx, since then my rendering time are the half they were before. Mostly around 3 sec per frame hd resolution, max. quality), depending the scene...

I am not computer expert, but the result will be the same with core i3 and core i7 with same graphic card and ram?

It is probably not the CPU that is the limiting factor. But remember that if your CPU becomes to slow that that does become the limit. Also I would not suggest less then 4gb of memory if you use a large scene.

But an i5 will still work fine. And a 460 gtx is for a budget card pretty good. But as stated a 580 gtx will be awesome.

So dear Ferry with core i7, 6gb and the Gainward GF GTX 580 "Phantom" 3 GB at 783 MHz to start with Lumion it's ok. What you think for the next Lumion? This system will work?

Is there any gain from running dual GPU, say 2 GTX460's instead of one or instead of one GTX580?

No, seems like you will not gain much more speed at the moment with two GPUs. I have in mind that the Lumion staff told us that SLI is supported, but that at the moment there is no (significant) gain of speed and that they are checking why that is so.

Yes that system is OK and also for next version. Indeed 1 580 GTX is for now faster then 2x 460.
