out video error

I have scene set but whenever i render it at 720 p the out files comes out jet dark green in color only.
What am I doing wrong here? :(

What type of video card are you running?  I only had that issue happen to me once, and it was when i had the Lumion window sized to work on other things while it was us...the graphic card flipped out and gave me a funky green dirty lake animation that i could not see anything.  To me it sounds like a memory issue.

Could be also your video player, i have it also somethimes with Media player, but plays fine with quicktime player.

I have a gtx 570.

The jpgs are coming fine but I need the video in mp4 format.Is there no difference between the quality of these two?
The video size comes out to be 5 kb once the render is completed so it's not a player issue.
I think it is a memory issue.what can I do to fix this?

I had the same issue when I first installed Lumion on my new machine.  Updating my Nvidia drivers and DX-9 fixed it.  On my older slower machine, I'd get it occasionally too and I'm positive it was a memory issue in that case.  Try restarting the computer and not opening any other programs besides Lumion.  Also I've noticed that if there are going to be issues in the animation, they also tend to show up in a still render.  You may want to test a photo render to see if it is clean before committing the time to process the full animation.

Thanks earthmover.I have tried that.all of that.however i just noticed that the jpg sequence comes out just fine.
what software should i use which combines the jpg sequence in as good format as mp4?

You can do it with Premiere.  in the clip bin you need to right click and choose New Item > Sequence then choose the first .jpg in the series and it will import the entire collection of stills as a video sequence.  Pretty sure you can do the same in Vegas and After Effects.

thanks.I have been trying that now for a while but the output video sucks :(
I want to upscale 720p jpeg renders too 1080p .if there's a neater way of doing that in premiere plz let me know and thanks a lot for all the support so far.

Output sucks due to resolution quality or something else?  You'd be better off exporting your stills at Full HD to make a 1080p video.  Scaling up the images is always going to reduce the quality.

no the 720p is fine.just the premiere output.
however i just tried attaching the sequence in adobe photoshop which worked like a charm and the video ouput is great too.

However my main issue couldn't get solved i.e. the mystery of green screen render which has a size of 5kb in the end.

Sequences in Premiere sometimes need a de-interlace filter applied to smooth them out.  Could've been the issue.  Glad you got it sorted.

Are you using update 1? We have had this green saved movie in the past but I can't recall if we fixed that in Update 1 or what the problem was.
