Hi mrumsa (I also replied to your email a little earlier).

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems opening Lumion - that's highly unusual.

To be able to assist you, we'll need some more information.

What exactly is the problem?

Are you having trouble locating the Lumion shortcut icon on the Desktop?

Or is it showing you an error when it's starting up?

If so, please attach a screenshot of the error.

Thanks for clarifying that.

If the shortcut icon isn't on the Desktop, something on your PC might have prevented it from being created. That "something" is typically anti-virus/security software.

1. Anyway, to get the ball rolling, please confirm that the 'Lumion' folder exists in the location that you installed it in.

2.If you didn't specify a location, it will be located in C:\Program Files.

3. You can start Lumion by double-clicking the 'Lumion.exe' file in the 'Lumion 7.5 Trial' folder in that location.

4. Alternatively, you can also type 'Lumion' in the Windows search field and click on the 'Lumion 7.5 Trial' entry that pops up.

Is this working as expected?

If so, we can talk you through how to create a new shortcut icon.

No, there is nothing that comes up when I look for Lumion in my program files, although I'm certain that I clocked "download" several times.  I've requested that our internet security provider review this issue and let me know if Lumion has been detected as a threat and if its download-able.

Thanks for the explanation - and apologies for the misunderstanding.

I was under the impression that you had completed the installation.

So you've clicked on the 'Download Manager' link in the 'Getting started with Lumion' email?

If so, has the 'Download Manager' been downloaded to the 'Downloads' folder?

If so, please double-click the 'Download Manager' executable file (and enter your 'Activation Code' from the 'Getting started with Lumion' email if prompted).
