I've been asked to do a job like this, and nothing further from my possibilities. The issue is that so far had not paid real attention to how interesting this new technology offers Web Marketing.
I hope you find interesting too.

Hi nico.
while this is certainly doable ( we could do it  :D ) this website doesnt make sence at all.
i have a pretty decent pc, with pretty decent grafic card and high speed internet connection but this webside is slow as hell, videos take forever to load, and the videos are not sharp at all.

took me 1 minute when i wanted to abort an animation and left the website ...

but if the customer wants it ... the customer is king !!

greets

Hm. It loaded quite fast for me, though I only have a mediocre machine (which is dying anyway). Must have been some connection settings.

Nico: very interesting.

Yeah, fast for me too, and I spent yesterday looking for and seen many examples, and all Ok.
Also this kind of web page, has a abackground in HTML that enables indexing for Google Search Engines. I've seen quite a potential market.
The problem is you have to know how to design websites. :P

and i have a i7 quadcore with 16 gb ram + gtx 580

might be a problem with firefox ??
