Hi! I'm using Lumion 7.5 trial to see if it works perfectly in my laptop. Weeks ago I had some troubles with lumion 6, apparently involving the batterý in my laptop. HP support service took my case and it was something to do with the battery (apparently) they changed the defective piece and told me it was resolved. Now i'm that i'm using the trial, the problem showed again and also more problems; one of them being that when I render, the laptop shuts down, without showing some kind of problem advice or restarting, it just shuts down without any LED on. (The other problem I had with Lumion 6 and Lumion 7.5 trial is that when my laptop is charging, the battery icon appears sometimes charging and sometimes not charging, as if it had some kind of "false", and eventually stops charging.) The problem only occurs with Lumion and ArchiCad, HP support service insists that there is a problem with the programs but has nothing to do with my laptop, that my laptop does not "support" the program but i think that has no sense. My laptop specifications are:
HP OMEN 17
- NVIDIA GFORCE GTX 1070
- RAM 16 GB
- GRAPHICS MEMORY 8 GB
- 2.8 GHZ UP TO 3.5 INTEL CORE I7-7700 HQ

Also, when I run the benchmark all of the 4 options appear in green! I suppose that means my laptop should not have any problems with Lumion!

Hi Maariami, sorry to hear about your problems with the HP Omen 17.

There's clearly a problem with the power supply. A healthy PC should never restart while using software.

1. Before we proceed, can you confirm that you've got a Lumion 6 license (in addition to the 7.5 Trial license)?

2. What is the wattage of the power supply? 230W?

Thanks for the further details.  Sounds like a power supply problem if it shuts down.

Please answer Mortens question:
