Any plans on developing for the oculus rift? also making the software capable of rendering 360 videos?

Hi Alex Abarca

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

Sorry, but we are unable to answer that question.  For various reasons it is not suitable, nor is it a practice of Act-3D to indicate about what might/might not be available in future versions.

Our licensed members have indeed discussed and included both capabilities in various Wishlists.

Hi JAMh

For future reference, please post support/+1's to the topics in the Feedback & Ideas Boards so that we can better know what feedback is being given.

There's a few topics on Occulus, one main one is Support for Oculus Rift.

I have done a copy/paste of your post this time to that topic.

Thanks for the +1.

Hi Peterm,

When I click on the link, I get a page that says the page doesn't exist.  I'd like to +1000 on the VR/Oculus support, or even an SDK to be able to develop ourselves.  Perkins+Will is seeing the value in VR for design assist and even our clients to be "immersed" in the space.

Thank you!

Hi madeforworship (great forum name :D), the links will take you to the Commercial Users' forum which is hidden from view until you register a license.

In other words, please click here to register your Lumion license to get access to the forum threads above. Thanks in advance.

ahh, that makes sense.  Our firm has one floating license that is probably associated to one of our other offices accounts.  I think we may be buying another license soon.  Is it possible to associate our other office's license to my account too?  Or is it one license per forum account?
