so I know there's a formal guideline on how to transfer files between computers: https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003474413-Why-are-Spotlights-not-casting-shadows-31. But when I copied the lumion folder under my document folder from a student version computer to a computer with educational pro licences, the scenes are not showing up. Is there a solution to this?

Hi jadephilo, welcome to the Lumion Support Center.

If you are referring to the USA Student Edition, then sorry, no, the files are locked out only to that special version.

The developers of Lumion have been made aware of the problem that this restriction is causing. Among other things, it means that people who are using the US Student version at home can't load their scenes in the Educational version of lumion at their place of study.

That's a bummer  :7 so there's no way that I can use the scene created in student version to create a 360 image?

Okay, what if I change the version of this computer to trial or educational license?

I mean, change the license of the computer that currently installed with student version  :)

It's not possible to change the license of an existing installation. Although you can install other versions of Lumion on the same PC, none of them will open your scene file from the USA Student version.
