NEW USER Questions :- Getting ready for Ronen's CHallenge .

Hey Lumion People,

I had been away for a month and as im Back got Couple of Question which i need Answers for .
As im new to Lumion for Ronen's Museum Challenge im pretty excited abt it . Just used it Once and its soo much fun .

Well here are my Ques :-

1) GTX 670 2gb Upgrade good option for rendering in Lumion ?
2) Can i apply all my textures on 3ds Max & Import in Lumion without any problems ? Does this include transparent glass And chrome all in Standard Materials ? ?
3) What could be a minimum frame time considering HD reso animation with Specs :-
    ASUS MOBO Maximus Extreme 4
    10gig ram
    670 2gb GPU

Yes, it's a good option (just steer clear of Nvidia Quadros and AMD Firepro cards):

Please read this thread first:

You'll have to add glass materials manually in Lumion as transparency is not transferred from 3DS Max. You will also have to adjust the reflectivity of chrome materials manually (Apply a Standard material in Lumion and increase the Reflectivity slider value).

3) What could be a minimum frame time considering HD reso animation with Specs
That depends on how complex your scene is, how many lights you use etc. There's more information here:
