scene with 3000k verts works with 40fbs but i have bigger scens with 11000k verts the works with 20fbs. i don´t now wy? (lumion team maybe can tell us)
Hi ilwedritschel, the framerate is a product of many factors, for example fillrate (many overlapping surfaces with transparency really drain performance) and also the number of drawcalls, i.e. how many different models you have in your scene (the graphics card has to change materials every time it switches to the next model, and every time it does this, a bit of time is wasted).
For that reason, it is not possible to diagnose performance in your scenes purely based on the number of vertices in your scene.
As an example, a model consisting of 3 million vertices and a single material will probably result in a better framerate than a model consisting of 30.000 vertices with 3000 different materials.
