Topic: My Lumion 3 wishes!

 After experimenting (and enjoying) the Free version, I have come up with 3 wishes for Lumion..

- 1: I retired after a 35 year IT career, 5 years ago, I wish I had been able to have Lumion back then it would have saved me hours of effort, and produced better results.
-2: I wish i could afford it now 
-3: I wish I had a faster PC , assuming #2..

Just wanted to say how impressed I am with this piece of software.. beats anything I have used in the past (including Animatek World Builder and Bryce!)

We are working hard on making it possible for people like you to help us out with a little effort and then earn your full version. We have some really nice ideas that we are working out which we will announce at some point.

Lumion is to heavy!!!

I have a laptop is not the latest but runs the heviest games however this product is to heavy
Its just not workable.
Either change the graphic engine or whatever or forget selling this.

but since I tried it I said to myself

...no... You just need a better video card!
Lumion works mainly with GPU so you don't need a supercomputer but just a little upgrade. If you have a notebook...sorry, I think it hardly possible to do it.

I have a three years old pc, and with 300€ I bought two nvidia 460 gtx...great! really fast with every model I imported in and very cheap upgrade.

You indeed just need a good 3d card. Lumion uses your 3d card very heavily. Also you can just press F1 (low quality building mode) and reduce the resolution in the settings menu to still work on an older 3d card.

Lumion works nicely with my ATI 5570, not the fastest, but very useable. (the downside of a compact PC is that I can only use  a half-height video card..that does limit one..)
