Hi Dinosor, this is just a routine check as you do not seem to have any Lumion 3 licenses attached to your forum account.

If you have a license or are working for a company with a valid license, I'd be grateful if you could forward the license or the company name/email address to info [at] act-3d.com, so we can verify that everything is in order.

Thanks in advance.

TIP: If you are working for a company, you can use 1 license key for multiple staff members, as a way to get full access to the forum. We provide faster support in the Commercial User section of the forum.

All that you need to do is to ask the person who manages the license keys at your company to go to your Account settings and enter one of the license keys. You will then have full access to the forum.

Thanks a lot for providing your license details, Dinosor.

I would highly recommend that you add the license to your forum account, so that you will get access to fast support in the Commercial User forum.

There is also a newer version of Lumion available (3.0.2). If you haven't received the email with the download link, please contact Arthur (arthur [at] act-3d.com).

Regarding your question, the basic procedure is that you need to add the Sun effect to a clip and then set a start and end keyframe for the Sun height and Sun heading sliders.

If you don't know how to create keyframes for Movie effects, please search for 'keyframe' in this FAQ post.

TIP: Keep in mind that the sun position will not change in the Movie preview, for example when clicking on the Play button, unless you click somewhere on the red time line slider. Another useful tip is the U key which will update the lighting and reflection texture. If you keep pressing this key, you can also preview the clouds in a higher resolution.

Ok, thanks,

I see, only the pré-visualisation is affected. By saving the final rendering it's okk.  ;)

TIP, here we are in french http://cadxp.com/index.php?/forum/149-lumion-3d/  :)
