Hi

I have downloaded the demo, it looks great congratulations.

I tried the Beta and was very impressed , but the final is much better.

Questions.

1. If i import a Model from max and want to phase a large site developing over time.

Can I turn off objects  and turn them on in the next few frames and or can I animate them to come up throw the ground plane?

2. The voice on your tutorials , am I right in thinking it is a digital voice if so were did you get it from I would like to use it on a presenation?

3. The price of the software at the moment is an introductary offer only?

What will the price be in the future.

Will extra libraries be availbale to purchase as Quest 3D is expensive if i am not mistaken as i can not find a price on any of the site it's all pklease contact us for pricing ?

Thank you

Phil

The only method to show and hide models is through the layer system. Place your models in different layers and between clips you can change them. We will try to create fades at a later stage.

Remko made the tutorials I will ask him the website.

Probably this price is for 1.x and will stay this at least a year. For 2.0 we will re-evaluate our pricing of course.

We might add content packs but we will also add content for free in Lumion updates!

Thank you very much.

Is there a manual or other material apart from the tutorials?

Thank again.

I showed to an architect friend and she just said she would love to be inside the model it is so dreamy.

:P

The manual is inside the program. There is an (i) which is context sensitive. We will try to keep this up to date and extend it. Some general information is available in the sticky topic.

I have come across a problem.

I have seperated all the objects in max on to seperate layers.

I have used Collada and it comes in together ie all one object on one layer.

So if i seperate them into seperate files i can place them perfectly as in the original file.

So how do i get the objects in on layers?

Thank you again?

Your question is how to use Lumion layers?

When you are in move mode or in context menu mode press [CTRL] to popup the layer menu. Our layers are not linked to max. You can paint new models in the active layer or move models to another layer via the context menu. The first final had a bug with this though. So that you HAVE to paint in the correct layer with the current demo version.
