I'm wondering if anyone can help. The answer is probably very easy. I would like to move my imported terrain model upwards, however, I have already placed a lot of trees onto the terrain. What's the best way to move my model and all the trees at once to a new elevation?

hi, since lumion object don't move up with the imported mesh, i do it like this:

1 the terreain only has to be moved up, is not changed in its form, right?

2 select all trees (ctrl + left mouse) and move them all higher then the new terrain (multiple selection for all categories at once is possible)

3 move mesh up or import in new height

4 go to horizontal view, selectall trees / objects 'in the air'  (again category after category, also multiple possible) and move down to surface

OR enter height values per numerical input function

can this work for you?

regards stan

Hi Derek, what I'd do is to select all the trees as well as your imported model and then move all of them at the same time.

SHIFT + CTRL + Rectangular selection (Drag a rectangle with the left mouse button pressed) works just like the normal rectangular selection operation but each new rectangular selection is added to the existing selection.

So first you select all the trees, then you switch to the Importing section where you can SHIFT + CTRL + Rectangular select the imported model(s).

hi morten , thanx for this , i indeed did not switch between internal and external models to select, only within lumion category.....so that's a better way. still learning......
