Movie from file import??

Whenever I try to put a clip from a previous exported Lumion movie into the current one it zooms the clip.  The imported clip was created with the same quality settings and resolutions that the new one being generated is using.  What am I doing wrong?

This feature has never worked well for me and I haven't seen anyone else bring up this issue.  I'm guessing it's something I'm doing wrong or not using the feature correctly.

When you say it zooms the clip, are you saying it moves the camera in, as in zooming in (or out)? or that the movie appears to play faster (or only play parts of) for the imported (from file) clip?

If it is the latter, what happens if you re-render again, same settings?

I have tried a simple clip, and first time the imported clip did not have the same playback as the source, but when re-rendered again it seemed to correctly read and then render out all frames correctly, almost as if it needed to read the whole clip first to get things right.

Thanks for your report, fossa - I've reproduced the problem and added it to the bugtracker list.

Thanks Morten and peterm:  I can't believe this hasn't been noticed before this.  I have a large project I think I'm going to have to break up and was going to use this to string things back together.  Guess I'll find some other way to do it.

Thanks.

I can't believe this hasn't been noticed before this.

Apparently very few people use this function.

It will be fixed in the upcoming 3.0.2 which is due out very soon.
