Hadn't noticed that before.
Get same here but the camera is about 2km up or more, rather than 500m, I think its in v2, not v1, going higher makes the gap worse up to a point. And they said the world was not flat!!

V3 preview mentions "Also notice how the new sky meets the ocean at the horizon." so maybe thats the fix.
Can only suggest maybe only going up to max height before the gap is appears, and if possible, avoid camera looking straight ahead to horizon, but look downward, or if the scene you are building is not extremely large, then make some terrain mountains to block out the backdrop/horizon.
