Better still, here's an LMF so all you need to do is open and apply to any surface.

This one is from the base material  and sample Morten made, but changed to make it highly chrome, ie the Reflectivity and Glossiness are max.

I just got around to testing the .lmf file you shared with us. Looks great! The backdrop I used for reflections was just the materials test. I also tried Remko's suggestion of rendering the panning clip at 60 frames per second.

apply the 'standard material' to something. then down in the options where the slider bars are, there is a little tab to click on that lets you save/load materials. click on the button that says to load a material, then select Peter's material and load it up.

You can also tweak some of the values to change the appearance of the Chrome or coloring etc.  Then save those out to a new LMF file so you have a selection of different materials on file for later easy re-use.

Note this material relies a lot on the high Reflection and Reflectivity values, so if reduced too much it will no longer resemble Chrome.
