Materials in Lumion

I wanted to point out that whenever I apply full reflection to any material, it does not give u a mirror like material, in other words if you put a person in front of it, it does not reflect that person instead it reflects the horizon outside. Is there something I can/should do to fix it, or could it be my video card?

Hi Fahad Hanif, what you are experiencing is a limitation in earlier versions of Lumion.

What you can do in Lumion 2.5 is to add the Reflection Control object to your scene. It's in the Lights & Utilities category.

To get slightly better reflections place this object near the camera position (or if you are animating the camera position, try to make it follow the camera using the Basic Animation or Advanced Animation effects).

Alternatively, you can upgrade your educational version of Lumion to version 3.0 as soon as it's released later this month.

Lumion 3.0 will include planar reflections which result in perfect reflections on flat surfaces.
