@Babe: glad it was of some help - but you should try to get the grips of that Rotate tool as it can be extremely powerful in its siomplicity in SU.

@Derek (and Babe), there's an "Image trimmer" plugin by TIG that can also cut out the transparent areas of a pgn file (now bundled in a more robust plugin set).

@Babe: there is no way in SketchUp to "stamp" images only. But if you trim your image with very high detailed settings, you can extrude its faces, intersect with the mesh and paint only those areas with the material projected on them.

I remember a similar discussion with some logo on an aeroplane - was that not you? (I cannot fully remember)

INTUITIVE  is something i expect from software, but its not always available

come across a SU plugin that can STAMP-TOOL an image onto a curved surface
please tell me .....as im still hoping for a miracle. :-D

thanx for the link, yes iv watched that video before several times, and its good.
but its completely impracticable ,using 7-procedures for 1 logo.
so for multi-logo  design its comical. :-D
