Hello,
I just download windows 7-64 on my macbookpro with bootcamp.
After I download Lumion 3.2.1 and I try to opend, it had the following message:

"Shader model 3 was note detected to work on this graphics card.Lumion needs at minimum a shader model 3 capable graphics card."

What that means? I know I have: Chipset Model:NVIDIA GeForce 9400M on my mac. Is that enough?
Please help.....

Lumion requires a a decent dedicated GPU. This should help you determine if you need an upgrade to use Lumion...

Thanks for your quick reply.
I am sorry, but I still do not understand very well.
On the link you wrote says Mac will need:

Recommended system specifications
OS: Windows 7, 8 (64-bit)
System memory: 6GB
Graphics card: NVidia GTX 680 / AMD Radeon HD 7970 or faster (minimum 4,000 PassMark points), with at least 2GB dedicated memory (not shared system memory).

and this is what I have on my mac. Whatever I have on my mac, is it enough to run 3.2.1?
Sorry, for asking again, but I am not really good at this graphics card thing !

My Mac:

Processor  2.26 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory  2 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256 MB
Software  OS X 10.8.5 (12F37)
Your Mac contains 2 memory slots, each of which accepts
a 1067 MHz DDR3 memory module.
All memory slots are currently in use.

Thank you....Thank you....Thank you....

A GF9400 is an old card and not fast enough to run lumion.

I guess this graph says it all...

thanks for that link!

so your existing graphics card has a score of 115 (~$20)

for comparison, at home I use a GTX 650 with a score of 1828  (~$150) so I can toy around with it on my free time.

In my office I use the Radeon 7970 HD with a score of 5,081 (~$300). I do all my renderings on this machine as its much faster.
