Sorry to hear you are still having problems getting the files downloaded.
It would help diagnose things if you can reply to Morten's question 1)
to make sure you are using the correct code to run the Download Manager
In 99.999995 of cases where there are download difficulties, the problem can be resolved by the steps we have in the Knowledgebase Article Morten and I have referred to. Even though you may have followed all of those, then it could still mean there is some other firewall or monitoring software blocking the download from proceeding.
One other option is that the folder location does not have the required write file permissions needed to save files. Has the Download Manager
been saved to your "Downloads" folder? You could try moving the Download Manager
to another folder such as "Desktop" where you should have full permissions to read/write files.
To check your Download Manager
, please forward the email from Act-3D titled "Getting started with Lumion" that has the link to the Download Manager
and shows the License Key and Activation Code, to us at [email protected]
We will then test the download to see if it's working on a different PC at a different location than yours.
One other option. Delete the Download Manager
exe file you already have. Then click on the email link for the download. This will re-download the Download Manager
again, but it should also fill in the correct Activation Code
for you automatically. Does that work?
If those do not work, then try downloading from a different PC, and one that is outside of your current PC environment or even outside of the organisation.
